The Oregon softball team was ranked No. 9 in the final NFCA/USA Today coaches poll of the season Tuesday. The Ducks finished at No. 8 in the ESPN/USA Today poll.

Oregon won its first 16 games of the season and finished 22-2 before COVID-19 ended the season on March 12. The Ducks were set to open Pac-12 play at California the following day.

After going 22-30 in 2019 during coach Melyssa Lombardi’s first season, Oregon finished in the top 10 for the ninth time in the past 10 seasons. The Ducks finished the season ranked among the top 11 teams in the country with a .350 batting average, 1.62 ERA and .986 fielding percentage.
