Gabe Matthews hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning Friday to give the Oregon baseball team a 6-4 nonconference win over Milwaukee at PK Park.

The Ducks (4-4) won their fourth straight game in the opening game of a four-game series.

Oregon jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning on an Anthony Hall RBI triple and an Aaron Zavala RBI single.

The Panthers (1-8) responded with three runs in the top of the sixth inning on a Zach Nogalski bases-loaded double and added to the lead with a Jack Kraus hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning.

The Ducks evened the scored at 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth when Hall hit a solo home run and Jack Scanlon singled home a run.

Both teams had 10 hits. Zavala went 3-for-5 and Hall and Matthews were both 2-for-5. Matthews and Hall both scored twice.

Kraus and Nogalski were both 2-for-5 for the Panthers.

Hunter Breault earned the pitching win for the Ducks by throwing a scoreless 11th inning. Starter Cullen Kafka allowed five hits and three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings while walking one and striking out four.
