Oregon outfielder Haley Cruse has been named the Pac-12 player of the week after helping the Ducks' softball team win all five of their games in last week's Mary Nutter Classic.
Cruse led all players in the 29-team tournament with a .667 batting average (12-for-18) along with a tournament-best .684 on-base percentage and 10 runs.
Cruse also drove in six runs with two doubles and two triples in helping Oregon run its record to 14-0 for the season.
Cruse leads the nation with 25 runs and is second nationally in runs scored (1.79) per game. She also leads the Pac-12 in runs, is tied for second in hits (22) and is third in batting average (.478) and stolen bases (8). She is the second Ducks player to win the award in as many weeks after third baseman Rachel Cid won the honor last week.
