PALM DESERT, Calif. — The Oregon men's golf team tumbled down the leaderboard during the second day of the three-day Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Saturday at the Classic Club.
The Ducks began the day with the team lead but shot an 11-over 299 to follow into a tie for sixth place with TCU at 1-over 577 on the par-72 7,305-yard course.
Auburn took over the team lead at 13-under 563, three shots ahead of second-place Charlotte and 10 shots of third-place Boise State.
Oregon's Tom Gueant remains the individual leader. After shooting a 64 Friday, Gueant shot a 2-over 74 on Saturday and is at 6-under 138 for a one-shot lead over four others.
Oregon's Nate Stember is tied for 27th place at even-par 144 after shooting a 74 Saturday. No other Ducks are in the top 50.
