Oregon junior guard Chris Duarte has been named the Pac-12 Conference men's basketball player of the week.

Duarte scored a season-high 31 points Sunday in the No. 4 Ducks' 98-59 win over Alabama State in their final nonconference game before opening Pac-12 Conference play Thursday at Colorado.

Duarte was 12-of-15 from the field in Sunday's win and was 6-of-9 on 3-pointers. Duarte's 31 points were the most by an Oregon player since Bol Bol had 32 last year against Texas Southern.

Duarte is the second Duck honored this year. Payton Pritchard was named Pac-12 Conference player of the week after the Ducks' 71-70 overtime win at Michigan earlier this month.
