The big play: On fourth-and-3 from the UO 33-yard line, OSU quarterback Tristan Gebbia completed a 17-yard pass to Trevon Bradford.

Momentum change: OSU’s Jermar Jefferson ran for a 10-yard score, but it was called back due to a personal foul on the Beavers.

Beyond the boxscore: Gebbia was a surprise starter for OSU after starting QB Jake Luton was sidelined with a forearm injury.

SECOND QUARTER

What happened: Oregon scored the first offensive touchdown of the game to take a 17-3 lead.

The big play: Justin Herbert threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Johnny Johnson.

Momentum change: Jevon Holland had a 25-yard punt return to set up Oregon’s touchdown.

Beyond the boxscore: Isaiah Hodgins, who leads OSU with 78 catches for 1,086 yard and 13 touchdowns, did not have a catch in the first half.

THIRD QUARTER

What happened: Oregon State punted a couple of times and Oregon missed a field goal and punted, but neither team scored.

The big play: Facing fourth-and-two at the UO 40-yard line, OSU was set to seek a conversion before a penalty moved the ball back five yards and the Beavers elected to punt.

Momentum change: Oregon kicker Camden Lewis missed a 24-yard field goal.

Beyond the boxscore: Oregon center Jake Hanson missed the game due to injury and Calvin Throckmorton moved over from tackle to take his spot.

FOURTH QUARTER

What happened: Oregon State and Oregon traded touchdowns.

The big play: With 2:22 left in the game, Oregon's Thomas Graham forces a fumble by Jermar Jefferson that's recovered by Brady Breeze, killing the Beavers' potential game-tying drive. Two plays later, Habibi-Likio scores a TD for Oregon on a 20-yard run.

Momentum change: On first-and-goal at the OSU 8-yard line, Oregon's Jaylen Redd takes a short pass and lunges for the end zone pylon, only to lose control of the ball. Instead of a game-sealing TD, the touchback gives the ball back to OSU late in the game.

Beyond the boxscore: Oregon State is denied a trip to a bowl game for the seventh consecutive year.
