KAILUA KONA, Hawaii — The Oregon women's golf team is in third place after Monday's opening day of the three-day Pac-12 Preview at Nanea Golf Club.

The Ducks opened with a 5-under 287 on the par-73 6,429-yard course.

Oregon State is tied with Colorado for seventh place at 7-over 299.

Arizona leads the team competition at 10-under 282, three shots head of UCLA and five shots ahead of Oregon.

Oregon's Amy Matsuoka and Arizona's Therese Warner are tied for the individual lead at 5-under 68, one shot ahead of UCLA's Emma Spitz.

Oregon State's Ellie Slama is tied for fourth at 70. Oregon's Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen is tied for seventh at 71.
