This past weekend was another big recruiting weekend for the Oregon Ducks coaching staff. While the Ducks didn't receive any verbal commitments, they got some of their top prospects at a few positions on campus for official visits.
Five-star linebacker Noah Sewell (Saint George, Utah) arrived on campus as expected for an official visit. Newell is planning on making a commitment sometime in December or early January, and then enrolling at his college choice early for spring football. He said there is a chance that he will come to Eugene for a third time this fall for an unofficial visit before he decides on a college.
Also on campus this past weekend was four-star wide receiver Gary Bryant Jr. (Corona, Calif.) The 5-foot-11 prospect is a top 50 recruit nationally regardless of position. Three-star defensive back prospect and UCLA verbal commit John Humphrey (Pasadena, Calif.) was another one of Oregon's official visitors.
The Ducks are looking for another defensive back in the class and have continued to recruit Humphrey despite his commitment. Four-star offensive lineman and Oregon commit Jonathan Denis (Homestead, Fla.) was also on campus for an official visit. This was his first time checking out the Oregon campus.
