The Oregon Ducks had a busy weekend last week with a large group of official and unofficial visitors at the Colorado game. The headliner of the 10 prospects on campus was 2020 five-star defensive back Kelee Ringo (Scottsdale, Ariz.). There were also a few surprises as 2020 four-star wide receiver and Alabama commit Traeshon Holden (Baltimore) and 2020 four-star wide receiver and LSU commit Jermaine Burton (Atlanta) were also on campus for unofficial visits.
The Ducks secured a verbal commitment from three-star junior college safety Bennett Williams (Watsonville, Calif.) this week after he made an official visit last weekend. He previously was on campus at the end of July for an unofficial visit and earned his offer after competing at Oregon's Saturday Night Live football camp. The Ducks now hold 21 verbal commitments for the 2020 recruiting class. The class is first among Pac-12 schools and is ranked 15th nationally.
A second verbal commitment was given to the Ducks on Thursday morning from 2021 offensive lineman Jackson Light (Draper, Utah). Light is a three-star prospect who is considered to be a center at the next level. He was also at Oregon's Saturday Night Live football camp. He also was on campus two weeks ago when the Ducks played California for an unofficial visit. The Ducks have three verbal commitments for the 2021 recruiting class that it is ranked 11th nationally.
