STANFORD, Calif. — The Oregon women's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place Sunday at the Stanford Intercollegiate after entering the day leading the team race.

The Ducks shot a 12-over 296 at the Stanford Golf Course to slide down the leaderboard and finish the tournament at 4-over 856 and tied with Florida.

Arizona State, which began the day three shots behind Oregon, shot a 10-under 279 and won the tournament at 842, five shots better than runner-up Stanford and six shots ahead of USC and Arizona.

Oregon State moved from 16th place to a tie for 11th in the 17-team field. The Beavers shot a 2-over 286 Sunday and finished at 30-over 882 and tied with Northwestern.

Oregon's Alexis Phadungmartvorkul and Tze-Han Lin were part of a tie for eighth place individually at 2-under 211. Teammate Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen tied for 16th at 1-over 214.

Oregon State's top individual was Ellie Slama, who tied for 32nd at 5-over 218. Stanford's Angelina Ye was the individual medalist at 10-under 203
