One might think because Oregon is playing on a Friday night the football program's recruiting will take a hit with high school games being played at the same time. That isn't the case as the Ducks are prepared to host one of the nation's highest-rated players in the country for an official visit. 2020 five-star cornerback and the No. 6 player in the country, Kelee Ringo (Scottsdale, Ariz.), will be on campus Friday night for the football game and remain on campus for the rest of the weekend. Ringo has Oregon included in his top group that includes Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Texas. The Bulldogs and Longhorns are the assumed favorites to land his commitment.
Last weekend the Ducks had an SEC-verbal commit on campus for an official visit. Three-star defensive tackle and Kentucky verbal commit Tre'vonn Rybka (Dickson, Tenn.) was a late addition to the visitor group last weekend against California. He is ranked as the nation's 38th best defensive tackle in the country and has taken previous official visits to Kentucky, Oklahoma and Cincinnati. Alabama has also offered him a scholarship.
Last week Oregon extended a scholarship offer to 2022 offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. (Seattle). Conerly is expected to be one of the nation's very best tackles when rankings come out for his class. Tennessee and Nevada have already previously offered and most of the Pac-12 is recruiting him. Conerly was on campus for Oregon's game against California on an unofficial visit.
