PORTLAND — The Oregon women's golf team finished second Tuesday in the Molly Collegiate Invitational at Waverly Country Club.
The Ducks shot a 300 in Tuesday's third and final round to finish at 886, 26 shots behind first-place Stanford. Georgia was third at 892, San Diego State fourth at 895 and Oregon State fifth at 897 in the 11-team tournament.
Stanford had the top three individuals with Andrea Lee taking medalist honors with a 210, two shots ahead of teammate Angelina Ye and four shots ahead of teammate Albane Valenzuela.
Oregon's Briana Chacon shot 73 in all three rounds to tie for fifth at 219. Amy Matsuoka was 12th at 223 and Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen tied for 13th at 224.
Oregon State's Ellie Slama also tied for 13th at 224. She finished with a 70 after rounds of 78 and 76.
