HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — The 14th-ranked Oregon volleyball team concluded play Friday in the Hofstra Invitational, losing 3-2 to Duke before finishing the tournament with a 3-0 win over Hofstra.

Oregon (4-5) downed the Pride, 25-21, 25-21, 25-19, after falling to Duke, 9-25, 28-26, 28-26, 19-25, 15-13.

Against Hofstra, Ronika Stone had 17 kills in 26 attempts for a .615 hitting percentage as Oregon again played without injured right-side hitter Willow Johnson.

Taylor Williams had eight kills for the Ducks, and Kylie Robinson and Karson Bacon added six kills apiece. Robinson also handed out 32 assists and had seven digs.

Ana Martinovic had 13 kills for Hofstra (7-3).

Stone had 17 kills against Duke, Morgan Lewis tallied 16 kills and Brooke Nuneviller added 15 kills. Robinson handed out 57 assists, Georgia Murphy had 14 digs and Nuneviller had 13 digs.

Gracie Johnson had 14 kills and Lily Copper added 11 for the Blue Devils (4-5).

The Ducks will open Pac-12 play at 6 p.m. Thursday at Oregon State.
