PULLMAN, Wash. — The Oregon State women's golf team had three players finish in the top 10 Tuesday to top Oregon for the team title at the Cougar Cup.

The Beavers shot 20-under 844 for the 54-hole tournament with a final round of 7-under 281 on Tuesday at the par-72, 6,277-yard Palouse Ridge Golf Course.

It was the second-best three-round total in Oregon State history.

Oregon shot 12-under 852 to finish second, two shots ahead of Washington and Denver, which tied for third in the 15-team event.

Oregon State's Ellie Slama was second in the individual race at 8-under 208, one shot behind medalist Karen Miyamoto of Washington.

Oregon's Tze-Han Lin tied for fifth at 5-under 211. Oregon State's Issy Taylor and Nicole Schroeder were part of a four-way tie for eighth at 4-under 212 as Schroeder tied the single-round school record with a final round of 66.

Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen, Amy Matsuoka and Ching-Tzu Chen all finished in the top 20 for Oregon.
