Oregon added a junior college offensive lineman to its 2020 recruiting class.

T.J. Bass, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound guard from Butte College in Oroville, Calif., made his commitment to the Ducks on Friday morning as the team was preparing for its first practice of the fall. He is ranked as the No. 2 junior college guard in the nation by 247Sports.com, which also lists him as the No. 53 overall junior-college prospect.

Bass played at Mt. Baker High School in Deming, Wash., before playing as a freshman last year at Butte. He will have two years of eligibility when he joins the Ducks.

Bass is the 19th player to commit to Oregon’s next recruiting class and fifth offensive lineman. He joins tackle Jaylan Jeffers and guard Jonathan Denis in committing to the Ducks this week.

Oregon also expects to sign guard Marcus Harper and tackle Faaope Laloulu.
