Another day, another preseason honor for Justin Herbert.

The Oregon senior was named Tuesday to the watch list for the Davey O’Brien Award given to the nation’s top quarterback. He is one of 30 players on the initial list after being a semifinalist for the award last season.

Herbert was named Monday to the watch list for the Maxwell Award given to the nation’s top player.

Herbert started all 13 games for the Ducks last season and threw for 3,151 yards and 29 touchdowns. In 30 career games, he has 7,070 passing yards and 63 touchdowns.

He enters his final season at Oregon with the nation’s longest streak of throwing a touchdown pass in 28 consecutive games.
