Thomas Laurent became the third all-American in Oregon men's tennis history when on Thursday he was named an all-American by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Laurent, a senior, who concluded his Oregon career with a school record 96 singles wins, joins Guillermo Carter (2000) and Sven Swinnen (2004-05) as the only other all-Americans in Oregon men's tennis history.

Laurent qualified for the NCAA Tournament in singles for the third time in his career but was unable to play in the NCAA event because of an injury.

Laurent finished No. 13 in ITA's final singles rankings. Oregon's Joshua Charlton and Ty Gentry finished No. 83 in the ITA doubles rankings.
