The Oregon and Oregon State men's golf teams received NCAA regional tournament berths when the regional fields were announced Wednesday.
The Ducks will be making their 13th straight NCAA regional appearance when they play in the Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Regional on May 13-15 at TPC Myrtle Beach.
Oregon State is also in the Myrtle Beach Regional as is California. Wake Forest is the top seed in the region with the Ducks seeded seventh and the Beavers 10th. Oregon State is making its first regional appearance since 2013.
California is the No. 2 seed in the regional, followed by Texas Tech, Illinois, Florida State and UNLV.
The top five teams in each of the six regionals advance to the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., on May 24-29.
Oregon finished in a tie for fifth at the Pac-12 Championships last week at Eugene Country Club and ended the regular season ranked 40th in the Golfstat rankings.
Ducks, Beavers earn Pac-12 Conference honors
Oregon men's golfer Edwin Yi has been named to the Pac-12 Conference all-conference second team.
Oregon's Yin Ho Yue has been named to the Pac-12 all-freshman team while Craig Ronne received honorable mention all-freshman recognition and senior Ryan Gronlund was honorable mention all-conference.
Yi, a senior, led the Ducks in scoring average at 71.60. Yue, who has 16th in the Pac-12 Championships, had a 72.68 scoring average. Gronlund, who placed 10th at the Pac-12 tourney, was second on the Ducks with a 71.74 scoring average.
Oregon State sophomore Spencer Tibbits received honorable mention all-conference recognition, and Sean Kato was named to the all-freshman team. Tibbits led the Beavers with a 71.56 scoring average with Kato at 72.71.
