LOS ANGELES — Oregon freshman Joshua Charlton picked up a singles win which stood as the Ducks’ lone point in a 4-1 loss to No. 13 UCLA Friday in a Pac-12 men's tennis match.

Playing at the No. 4 spot in the lineup for Oregon (13-6, 1-4 Pac-12), Charlton (19-3) posted a 6-2, 7-6(5) victory over Ben Goldberg, who has three wins over ranked opponents this year for the Bruins. Charlton is now 19-3 overall — moving into a tie for second on the team with Riki Oshima — and 15-0 in dual play.
