NAPA, Calif. — The Oregon women's golf team moved up one spot during Tuesday's third and final round to finish fourth in the 18-team Silverado Showdown at the Silverado Resort and Spa.
The Ducks shot a 3-over 291 Tuesday on the 6,120-yard par 72 course to finish at 20-over 884 for the tournament.
Northwestern finished at 870 to take the team title by four strokes over runner-up USC. Stanford was third at 881 with Washington fifth at 886.
Oregon's Kathleen Scavo finished in a tie for fourth at 1-over 217 after shooting a 72 Tuesday. Oregon's Petra Salko finished in a tie for 11th at 5-over 221 and Amy Matsuoka tied for 23rd at 8-over 224.
Northwestern's Brooke Riley survived a final round of 75 to finish at 1-under 215 to take medalist honors over two others who were one shot back.
