Oregon sprinter Cravon Gillespie has been named the Pac-12's men track athlete of the week for his performances in the San Diego State Invitational over the weekend.

Gillespie won the 100 meters in a wind-aided 10.04 seconds, just over the allowable legal wind limit of 2.0 meters per second at 2.2. His time leads the NCAA list and is the No. 3 time in the world under all conditions so far this season. The time was just off his wind-aided best of 10.02 set at last year's NCAA Championships at Hayward Field.

Gillespie also teamed with Braxton Canaday, Rieker Daniel and Oraine Palmer to win the 4x100 relay in 39.33. The time ranks fourth in the NCAA through the first two weeks of the outdoor season and is the fourth-best in school history.
