There was a delayed start but an early finish to Oregon's Pac-12 softball game against Washington on Monday at Jane Sanders Stadium.
After a starting more than two-hours after its scheduled 6 p.m. first pitch, the Huskies needed just five innings to win 8-0 to take all three games in the series.
The Ducks (11-16, 0-6 Pac-12) were held to three hits in what was their 12th straight loss.
The Huskies (25-6, 3-3) scored six runs in the top of the second to quickly put them up by a large margin. First baseman Kaija Gibson hit a solo home run in the third to make it 7-0 and then Washington scored its eighth run on an error in the fourth.
