Nick Kahle had three hits and Connor Blair homered as Washington defeated Oregon 19-3 Saturday at PK Park.
The Ducks (10-7) fell to 0-2 in the Pac-12 while being outscored by a combined total of 28-6 in the first two games of the baseball series.
Blair’s homer highlighted a five-run third inning before Oregon followed with three in the bottom of the frame.
Taylor Adams singled and Tanner Smith walked before Sam Novitske walked to load the bases. Jonny DeLuca hit a two-run single before Spencer Steer hit a sacrifice fly.
UW added three runs in the fifth inning to knock out UO starter Robert Ahlstrom, who allowed six earned runs in four innings.
Washington picked up a run in the sixth and four in the eighth before finishing with six runs in the ninth inning.
Novitske had three hits for the Ducks while Adams added two.
Sixth-ranked Beavers rally to beat Bruins
LOS ANGELES — Alex McGarry hit a home run in the seventh inning and drove in the game-winning run in the ninth as No. 6 Oregon State scored six runs in the final three innings for a come-from-behind, 7-3, Pac-12 baseball win against UCLA on Saturday at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
McGarry tied the score at three with a solo blast in the seventh. He came to the plate with the bases loaded and one out in the ninth and drilled a single to center field to make it a 4-3 game.
Adley Rutschman, who drove in the Beavers’ first run of the game in the third, followed McGarry with a two-run single and the Beavers (14-2-1 , 1-1 Pac-12) scored a third run on the play thanks to a UCLA (13-4, 1-1) error.
McGarry, Rutschman and Ryan Ober each had three hits to pace the Beavers.
The teams will play the series finale at noon Sunday.
