Thomas Laurent became Oregon's all-time leader in career singles wins Thursday in leading the Ducks to a 4-2 men's tennis win over Middle Tennessee at the Student Tennis Center.

Laurent defeated Stijin Slump 6-3, 7-5 for his 94th career singles victory, breaking the record he shared with former teammate Jayson Amos (2014-17).

Laurent, who won his ninth straight match Thursday, also set the single-season record of 30 wins in 2017.

The Ducks (12-1) also got singles wins from Ty Gentry, Riki Oshimi and Joshua Charlton. Oshima overcame a 6-2 first-set loss to win at No. 4 singles and Charlton dropped the middle set 6-3 at No. 5 singles before winning.

Middle Tennessee won the doubles point with Laurent and Charlton being the only Oregon team to win a set.
