Oregon’s final game at Texas Tech was postponed due to cold weather in Lubbock, Texas on Monday. Temperatures were expected to remain below 40 degrees with a wind chill in the teens during the day.

Oregon won its season opener against the eighth-ranked Red Raiders 9-4 before letting leads get away in the final two games. Texas Tech rallied from an 8-0 deficit to win 12-11 on Saturday and trailed 4-1 on Sunday before winning 6-4.

Oregon batted .372 as a team during the series with 42 hits and 24 runs scored. Freshman Aaron Zavala is batting .462, one of five Ducks above .400.

The Ducks had a 7.92 ERA against the Red Raiders while walking 23 batters in 25 innings.

Oregon returns home for its next seven games beginning Friday against Saint Mary’s with a start time moved up to 3 p.m. The Ducks and Gaels play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday followed by a game at noon on Sunday.
