HAMDEN, Conn. — In a battle between two of the top teams in the country, the No. 2-ranked Oregon acrobatics and tumbling team defeated No. 3 Quinnipiac on Sunday.

The Ducks improved to 2-0 with the 268.605-264.775 win in the Bobcats' season-opening match.

Quinnipiac won the hotly-contested compulsory event, but Oregon pulled ahead by winning the acro, pyramid, tumbling and team events. The squads tied in the toss event.

The Ducks return home to host Arizona Christian on Saturday.
