CHICAGO — The Oregon women's tennis team won five of six singles matches Friday to rally for a 5-2 win over Illinois-Chicago.
The Flames took the doubles point by winning two of the three matches 7-5 after Shweta Sangwan and Rifanty Kahfiani took the No. 1 doubles match with a 6-1 victory for the Ducks (4-2).
Illinois-Chicago then picked up a win at No. 6 singles for a 2-0 lead before the Ducks won the next five singles matches.
All six singles matches were decided in straight sets with Oregon getting victories from Sangwan, Daniela Nasser, Kahfiani, Paiton Wagner and Allison Mulville.
