The home schedule continues for Oregon volleyball.

The Ducks earned a No. 15 seed into the NCAA Tournament and will host New Mexico State in the first round at 7 p.m. Thursday. The winner of that match will return to Matthew Knight Arena on Friday to face either Hawaii or Baylor, which play at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

"I'm excited for our seniors, that they get to play in Matthew Knight Arena again, and I'm excited for our fans to have the chance to have the NCAA Tournament in Eugene for volleyball," Oregon coach Matt Ulmer said in a news release. "I'm proud of our team ... We play in a very tough conference and had a lot of good wins, so I'm just excited to be recognized and have a chance to play another day."

The team that emerges from the weekend likely visits second-seeded Minnesota for the Sweet 16. The Ducks defeated the Gophers 25-23, 25-23, 25-27, 25-23 on Sept. 7 in a tournament at Stanford, which earned the No. 1 overall seed.

The Ducks (20-10) won their past two games to finish tied for second in the Pac-12 Conference at 13-7, matching their best conference finish. Oregon is in the postseason for the eighth straight season and hosting for the first time since 2014.

New Mexico State (24-10) went 12-4 in the Western Athletic Conference before winning the conference tournament. The Aggies were 1-2 against Pac-12 teams this year after splitting two games with Arizona and losing to Arizona State.

Oregon defeated Hawaii (18-8) 25-23, 25-10, 22-25, 23-25, 15-12 on Sept. 24 in Honolulu. The Rainbow Wahine are making their 26th straight NCAA Tournament appearance after going 14-2 in the Big West Conference.

No. 25 Baylor (19-8) placed second in the Big 12 at 11-5.
