Recent Developments: The Oregon football program will have one of its bigger recruiting weekends of the season when UCLA comes to town. The Ducks are expected to host as many as six official visitors for the game. Four of the six play along the defensive line: Four-star defensive end Ty Robinson (Higly High in Gilbert, Ariz.), four-star defensive tackle Siaki Ika (East High in Salt Lake City), four-star defensive end Stephon Wright (Cathedral High in Los Angeles) and four-star defensive end Drake Jackson (Centennial High in Corona, Calif.) ... Also on campus this weekend will be five-star prospect Kyle Ford (Orange Lutheran High in Orange, Calif.), the only wide receiver the Ducks plan to bring in for an official visit before the December signing period unless one of UO's other four wide receiver verbal commitments decide to back off their pledge ... Three-star offensive lineman Logan Sagapolu (Skyridge High in Lehi, Utah) will officially Oregon this weekend. His top two schools are currently Oregon and Utah.
Future Developments: Three-star junior college linebacker Caleb Johnson (Fullerton College) was offered a scholarship by Oregon last month and is working to set up a visit. The current plan is for Johnson to make an official visit to Oregon for the Arizona State game in two weeks ... The nation's No. 1 overall prospect for the 2019 recruiting class, Kayvon Thibodeaux (Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, Calif.), will officially visit Florida this weekend. That will be his fourth official visit taken after previously seeing Oregon, Florida State and Alabama. Those four schools, along with USC, are the five he's considering the most right now ... Oregon is working to set up two official visit weekends in December, and the first known visitor is four-star linebacker Daniel Heimuli (Menlo-Atherton High in Menlo Park, Calif.). Heimuli will visit Dec. 7.
