The Oregon men's tennis team picked up five victories during Friday's opening day of the Duck Invitational.

The doubles team of Ty Gentry and Ethan Young-Smith won twice, defeating Avery West and Tommy Edwards of Portland State 8-5 in the first round, and beating Eleftherios Neos and Tom Hann of Portland 8-3 in the second round. The Duck duo of Charles Roberts and Armando Soemarno followed a first-round bye with an 8-2 win over Sahal Bukhari and Nikola Dimitrijevic of Portland State.

Oregon singles players won a pair of matches against Portland State opponents with Riki Oshima defeating Lucas Castelo Branco 6-1, 6-2, and Evan Felcher downing Otto Holtari 7-5, 6-1.
