Oregon stopped an eight-game losing streak when Bayley Bruner booted a golden goal in the 95th minute to give the Ducks a 1-0 overtime victory over Arizona at Pape’ Field on Sunday.

Chardonnay Curran and Emma Eddy teamed on the assist, with Bruner scoring from 12 yards out into the right side of the net.

"I was so happy that I don't even know if I had thoughts,” Bruner said in a news release. “It was good after coming off of a losing streak. The hard times make the good times sweeter."

It was third match in the past four home games that Oregon (8-9-1, 2-8-0 Pac-12) played to overtime. Halla Hinriksdottir matched her career high with seven saves and earned her sixth shutout of the season in goal against the Wildcats (11-5-2, 4-4-2).

The Ducks will try to get to .500 for the season against Oregon State at home Friday.
