TEMPE, Ariz. — One down, one to go for the Oregon volleyball team on this weekend's road trip.
The No. 16-ranked Ducks swept Arizona State 25-23, 25-18, 25-21 in a Pac-12 match Friday, winning some payback for an earlier loss to the Sun Devils at Matthew Knight Arena.
The victory pulled Oregon (14-7, 7-4 Pac-12) into a tie with USC for third place in the conference. It was the Ducks' ninth three-game sweep of the season and their 10th consecutive win over ASU at Wells Fargo Arena.
Ronika Stone led the way for the Ducks, hitting .500 with 15 kills, while Lindsey Vander Weide and Willow Johnson finished with seven each, and Lauren Page added six kills and six blocks. Brooke Nuneviller finished with 18 digs while August Raskie added 31 assists, four blocks and five digs.
Alyse Ford paced Arizona State (13-10, 4-7) with nine kills.
Next up for Oregon is Arizona, which beat the Ducks in five sets a month ago in Eugene, at 11 a.m. Sunday in Tucson.
