STANFORD, Calif. — Tze-Han Lin shot a 1-over-par 72 to lead the Oregon women's golf team in the first round of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Friday.

The Ducks are tied for 11th place in the 17-team field with a 12-over 296, 24 strokes off the pace of tournament leader Southern California which carded a dominating 272. Stanford is in second, 12 strokes behind the Trojans.

USC's Malia Nam and Alyaa Abdulghany are among five golfers tied for the individual lead at 4-under 67. Other Oregon golfers include Petra Salko (73), Kathleen Scavo (75), Simar Singh (76) and Alexis Phadungmartvorakul (78).
