Recent Developments: Oregon landed its 22nd verbal commitment for the 2019 recruiting class Thursday when four-star linebacker Jared Casey (Louisville, Ky.) decided to say no to the local programs — Louisville and Kentucky — and picked the Ducks. Oregon now has commitments from nine different states for 2019 ... The Ducks will play host to three five-star prospects this weekend, including the 2019 overall No. 1 recruit Kayvon Thibodeaux (Thousand Oaks, Calif.). Johnny Wilson (Calabasas, Calif.), a 2020 five-star wide receiver, also will be here to check out the Duck program for the first time. Sav'ell Smalls (Seattle), a 2020 five-star outside linebacker, will be on campus for his third unofficial visit this season ... Four-star cornerback Max Williams (Gardena, Calif.) committed to USC over Oregon, Utah, Notre Dame and Louisville. The Ducks never hosted him for a visit and postponed his visit earlier this season after he suffered an ACL injury ... Three-star defensive end Bralen Trice (Glendale, Ariz.) committed to Washington over offers from Oregon and Notre Dame.

Looking Ahead: Four-star cornerback Isaiah Rutherford (Carmichael, Calif.) has announced he will give a verbal commitment to a school Saturday. He made an unofficial visit to Oregon earlier this year, but no official visit has been set ... Four-star defensive end Ty Robinson (Gilbert, Ariz.) has set his official visit to Oregon for Nov. 3 when the Ducks play UCLA. Robinson also has official visits scheduled for Nebraska and Alabama later in November.
