PARKER, Colo. — The Oregon men's golf team wrapped up the Paintbrush Invitational in second place Tuesday, concluding the tournament eight shots behind team winner Colorado State.
The Ducks shot an even-par 288 Tuesday on the 7,531-yard par-72 Colorado Golf Club course to finish at 14-over 878 for the tournament.
Colorado State finished at 6-over 870. Northern Colorado was third at 883 and Colorado and Loyola Marymount tied for fourth at 887.
The Ducks were led by Ryan Gronlund, who finished fourth at 4-under 212 after shooting a 71 Tuesday. Sam Foust tied for 12th for the Ducks at 3-over 219 with a final-round 73 and Edwin Yi finished in a tie for 15th at 4-over 220. Yi shot a 72 Tuesday.
Colorado State's Oscar Teiffel took individual medalist honors with a 10-under 206, three shots ahead of Loyola Marymount's Riley Elmes.
