LOS ANGELES – The No. 20 Oregon volleyball team bounced back from a pair rough weekend at home to sweep No. 17 UCLA 25-21, 25-18, 25-23 in a Pac-12 volleyball match on Friday at Pauley Pavilion.
The Ducks (10-5, 3-2 Pac-12) led nearly the entire match to secure the program's first sweep over UCLA (7-5, 2-3 Pac-12) since 2014 and UO's first-ever sweep of the Bruins in Los Angeles.
Oregon junior Taylor Borup took advantage of her first start inPac-12 play with a season-high 13 kills and a career-high 16 digs for her first career double-double.
Willow Johnson and Lindsey Vander Weide each had eight kills and Lauren Page had seven kills and hit .417.
Ronika Stone led Oregon with seven blocks to go with six kills, August Raskie dished out 39 assists while adding five blocks and four kills, and Brooke Nuneviller was terrific defensively with a team-best 17 digs.
