SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Edwin Yi fired a 5-under 65 on Sunday to finish in third place at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate golf tournament at Mirabel Golf Club.

Yi moved up nine spots on the final round after carding a three-day 10-under 200, five strokes behind medalist Bryson Nimmer of Clemson. Donald Kay tied for 30th (209) and Ryan Gronlund tied for 39th (211) to help the Ducks finish in seventh place in the 14-team tournament.

Oregon State, meanwhile, finished in ninth place and was led by Shawn Lu who tied for 17th at 205. Nolan Thoroughgood tied for 20th (206) and Spencer Tibbits tied for 39th (211) for the Beavers.

Georgia Tech won the team title with a 28-under 812. Oregon scored 829 and Oregon State finished with a 833.
