SAN FRANCISCO — Oregon golfer Edwin Yi finished in a two-way tie for 12th place Friday after the final round of the 52nd Pacific Coast Amateur Championship at The Olympic Club.

Yi shot a final-round 1-over 72 for a four-day total of 281, nine strokes behind champion Isaiah Salinda of South San Francisco, Calif. Salinda, who carded a competitive course record of 62 on Thursday, also shot a 1-over 72 on Friday to finish at 12 under, one stroke better than Austin Eckroat of Edmond, Okla.

Ryan Gronlund, Yi's teammate at Oregon, climbed up the final leaderboard after firing a 3-under 69 on Friday to finish in a tie for 28th with a 2-over 286.
