Oregon baseball players Kenyon Yovan, Jonny DeLuca, Gabe Matthews, Ryne Nelson and Spencer Steer will play in the Cape Cod League this summer.

Yovan, who currently is pitching for the USA Baseball Collegiate National team, will be teammates with Steer for the Orleans Firebirds. DeLuca, Matthews and Nelson will play on the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

Pitcher James Acuna, who began last season in Oregon's starting rotation before moving to the bullpen and finishing his sophomore season at 2-2 with a 6.65 ERA, is also playing in the Cape Cod League, but has left the Ducks and will transfer to another program.

Brett Walker will play for the Portland Pickles in the West Coast Collegiate League while Kolby Somers will play for Corvallis and Cullen Kafka will pitch for Yakima Valley. Pitcher Hunter Breault will play for Santa Barbara in the California Collegiate League and outfielder Jason Drees will play for Casper in the Expedition League.

Outfielder Taylor Adams will play for Rochester in the Northwoods League while pitcher Nico Tellache will play for Fond du Lac.
