BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Incoming Oregon freshman Josh Hoey won a USATF Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday with his victory in the men's 800 meters.

On Sunday, a handful of current Ducks will attempt to do the same.

Hoey finished in 1 minute, 49.48 seconds to take the title, earning him a spot in the IAAF World U20 Championships in Finland come July.

In the women's 200 semifinals, UO freshman Lauren Rain Williams ran 22.82 for the fastest time of the day to qualify for Sunday’s final. She’ll be joined by freshman teammate Jasmin Reed, who ran 23.08 to automatically qualify as well.

In the women's 400 semifinals, freshman Shae Anderson ran the fourth-fastest time at 52.67 to also qualify for Sunday’s final.

Duck freshman Kaylah Robinson was the fastest nonqualifier in the 100 hurdle semifinals. She ran 13.79 to finish ninth.
