Oregon second baseman Kyle Kasser was named a first-team Senior CLASS All-American on Friday.

He is one of five seniors honored for achievements in community, classroom, character and competition.

Kasser graduated with a 3.17 GPA in economics while earning all-academic honors from the Pac-12 in three straight seasons. He batted .299 in four years with the Ducks.

Kasser was drafted in the 30th round of the Major League Baseball draft last week by Kansas City.
