OKLAHOMA CITY — Oregon put a pair of runners on base in the seventh inning but couldn't rally past Florida State and the top-seeded Ducks were eliminated from the Women’s College World Series with a 4-1 loss Saturday to the No. 6-seeded Seminoles.

First Inning: UO 0, FSU 0

UO's Miranda Elish gets the start in the circle and Florida State goes down in order, on a pair of groundouts and a strikeout. The Ducks with Jenna Lilley (line out), Alexis Mack (groundout) and Shannon Rhodes (pop up) also go down in order in the bottom half of the inning.

Second Inning: UO 0, FSU 0

Elish notches two more FSU strikeouts in another 1-2-3 inning. Haley Cruse and Lauren Burke hit back-to-back singles to put runners at first and second with one out for the Ducks, but DJ Sanders strikes out and Lauren Lindvall grounds out to end the threat.

Third Inning: FSU 1, UO 0

Elizabeth Mason gives Florida State a 1-0 lead with a one-out RBI double to left-center that scores Cali Harrod, who had walked and stolen second base. Jessie Warren then singles to center to put runners at the corners, but Elish escapes with her fifth strikeout and a fly out to end that half of the inning. Oregon's Mia Camuso (strikeout), Lilley (groundout) and Mack (foul out) do down 1-2-3 to end the third.

Fourth Inning: FSU 1, UO 0

Anna Shelnutt opens the inning with a single, but the Ducks turn a double play on a grounder by Morgan Klaevemann and the top half of the frame ends on a Zoe Casas pop out. For Oregon, Rhodes leads off with a single and later steals second but the Ducks get three straight outs by Gwen Svekis (strikeout), Cruse (line out) and Burke (strikeout).

Fifth Inning: FSU 2, UO 0

Singles by Harrod and Klaevemann put runners at the corners for the Seminoles, and Mason's single into left brings home Harrod for a 2-0 lead. Megan Kleist replaces Elish at pitcher and gets the final outs, but not before runners advance to second and third on a misfired throw by DJ Sanders who had nabbed a liner at shortstop. Oregon's Shaye Bowden and Lindvall each ground out before Camuso gives the Ducks just their fourth hit of the game on a roller to second base. But Lilley follows with a groundout to end the inning.

Sixth Inning: FSU 3, UO 1

The Seminoles lead off with a walk to Shelnutt and a fielding error puts runners at first and second. Casas then delivers a blast off the right-field wall to score a run, and Oregon brings in Maggie Balint to replace Kleist. Balint gets a strikeout and foul out before the Ducks get the third out on a fielder's choice. In the bottom of the sixth, Mack grounded out, Rhodes reached on a fielding error at second and Svekis popped out before Cruse belted a run-scoring double to left-center, cutting the gap to 3-1. Burke popped up for the final out.

Seventh Inning: FSU 4, UO 1

Balint gives up a towering two-out homer to right field to Sydney Sherrill as FSU pushes to a 4-1 lead. Shelnutt gets to second on Oregon's fourth error of the game, a throwing miscue by Lilley, before Morgan flies out to center field. In the Ducks' bottom half, Sanders and Mary Iakopo each draw walks to put runners at first and second with one out, but Lilley flied out and April Utecht struck out to end Oregon's season.
