LOS ANGELES — UCLA scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat Oregon 12-4 Friday night in a Pac-12 Conference baseball game at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

Oregon tied the score with two runs in the top of the sixth before the Bruins got three runs off UO starter Kenyon Yovan in the bottom of the inning and added four more off reliever Parker Kelly. Yovan allowed seven hits and seven earned runs in five innings.

Oregon (25-25, 11-14) took the lead in the top of the second when Yovan singled and Jonny DeLuca followed with a walk. Gabe Matthews reached on a fielder's choice and an error on the play allowed Yovan to score while DeLuca reached third base.

Ray Soderman grounded into a double play that scored DeLuca.

The Bruins (33-16, 16-9) followed with four runs in the bottom of the third inning.

Matthews and Taylor Travess each had two of Oregon's eight hits.
