FORT WORTH, Texas — Oregon's run through the NCAA men's tennis tournament came to an abrupt end with a 4-0 loss to No. 8 Texas Christian on Sunday at the Friedman Tennis Center.
The Horned Frogs swept the doubles to score the opening point, then got a victory from Alex Rybakov over Oregon's Thomas Laurent at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-0 to take a 2-0 lead.
The Horned Frogs clinched the victory when Guillermo Nunez beat Oregon's Akihiro Tanaka at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-2, and Reese Stalder beat Ty Gentry at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-3.
Oregon finished the second at 18-10.
