SALT LAKE CITY — Hope Brandner went 3-for-4, including a two-run homer in the third inning, to help propel Oregon State to an 8-7 victory over Utah in Pac-12 Conference softball Friday.

Brandner, who also stroked a double, finished with two RBIs for the Beavers (28-26, 9-14 Pac-12). McKenna Arriola added a two-run triple in the fourth inning and Jessica Garcia also knocked in a pair of runs.

Heather Bowen had two hits and four RBIs for the Utes (20-30, 2-21).

Oregon State wraps up its regular season with the third game in the series at 11 a.m. Saturday.
