SALT LAKE CITY — The Oregon State softball team overcame a 3-0 deficit after the first inning for a 9-5 win over Utah on Thursday in a Pac-12 softball game at Dumke Family Softball Stadium to end a nine-game losing streak.

Despite the early deficit, it was all Oregon State after the first inning.

The Beavers (27-26, 8-14 Pac-12) scored twice in the second inning and once in the third to tie it at 3. Oregon State then took control with four runs in the top of the fourth inning.

McKenna Arriola had a two-run single in the fourth and Alysha Everett had a two-run homer in the inning.

Arriola, Everett, Hope Brandner, Jessica Garcia and Camryn Ybarra all had two hits in the Beavers' 12-hit attack.

Oregon State hadn't won since a 2-1 win over Portland State on April 17.
