CORVALLIS — Oregon State pitcher Meehra Nelson allowed only two hits Saturday in going the distance in the circle, but the No. 5 Washington Huskies scored single runs in the fourth and sixth innings for a 2-0 Pac-12 softball win over the Beavers at the OSU Softball complex.

Both of the runs and hits for the Huskies (43-8, 14-8 Pac-12) came on solo home runs by Noelle Hee in the fourth inning and Kirstyn Thomas in the sixth inning.

Nelson had four strikeouts in addition to allowing the two hits and the two runs.

Oregon State (26-25, 7-13) was held to three hits by Washington pitcher Gabbie Plain as Alysha Everett, Shelby Weeks and Mariah Mazon had the hits. Plain had two walks and four strikeouts.
