The Oregon volleyball team, ranked No. 8 in the AVCA preseason poll, will hold its Green and Yellow intrasquad exhibition match at 7 p.m. today at Matthew Knight Arena. Both parking at the arena garage and admission to the match are free.
The 16-player roster will be split into two teams and play a best-of-five set match. Fans will be given the opportunity to interact with coach Jim Moore during the match. Fans also will have a chance to vote for one of two candidates who will be auditioning for the role of public address announcer.
The Ducks compiled a 30-5 record last year that concluded with a trip to the NCAA national championship game. Along the way they finished second in the Pac-12 and placed three players on all-America teams. Two of those all-Americans, Liz Brenner and Lauren Plum, return this year.
The Ducks will hold a second exhibition match on Friday against an Oregon alumni team before opening the regular season against Eastern Washington on Aug. 30 as part of the Oregon Classic.

Oregon plays its first counting match next Friday against Portland State at Papé Field at 5 p.m., the first of nine consecutive home games for the Ducks.
